I moved from Maine to Florida in 1978 and fell in love with the pristine clear shallow waters of the Indian River Lagoon. As a merchant mariner, I had the opportunity to sail and fish all over the World. I found that the Lagoon suited my primary love of sight fishing with both a fly rod and light spinning gear.
I started guiding part time over 25 years ago, and when I retired from the Merchant Marine I made it a full time job. In the winter I provide charter fishing trips in the Indian River Lagoon. Every year I return to Maine for five months to provide fishing and sightseeing experiences in Casco Bay. As a registered Maine Guide with a specialization in Tidewater Fishing, I’m able to successfully navigate the bays, coves and open water for striped bass, bluefish, and mackerel. |
