| The Indian River Lagoon, Banana River, and Sebastian inlet all offer extraordinary opportunities for fly fishing. The Maverick Mirage is specifically designed for gliding above the flats for sight fishing. As we silently pole along, you’ll cast at species such as redfish that are visible tailing and rolling as they hunt for food in the shallow water. It is best to have a pair of Polaroid sunglasses with amber lenses for looking into the water. With proper sunglasses, you may be able to see the snook and tarpon that sometimes lurk under the docks and mangroves on the Sebastian River. In deeper water, species such as jacks and sea trout readily take blind casted flies. |
